Who we are

This website is run by The January Studio, 9 Camden Street, Stoke-on-Trent ST4 3BN. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this website. If you have any questions about this notice, email info@thejanuarystudio.co.uk or call 01782 307412.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry through our website, we collect the details you give us:

• your name, company, email address and phone number
• the services you're interested in and any deadline you mention
• your message

If you email or call us, we keep a record of that conversation too.

Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP addresses, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site running securely. To protect our enquiry form from spam, we also briefly store a coded (hashed) version of your IP address, which is deleted automatically within a day.

How we use it

We use your details to reply to your enquiry and, if you'd like to work with us, to prepare a quote or proposal. We do this because you've asked us to (taking steps at your request before entering into a contract) and because we have a legitimate interest in running and protecting our website.

We won't add you to a mailing list, and we never sell your information.

Who we share it with

We only share your information with the companies that help us run our business, such as our website hosting and email providers, who process it on our behalf. We don't share it with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only for as long as we need them to deal with your request and any work that follows. If we don't go on to work together, we delete them when they're no longer needed.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct it, delete it or stop using it. To do any of these, email info@thejanuarystudio.co.uk.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first, so please contact us.

Cookies

This website doesn't use cookies. We don't use analytics or advertising trackers, and we don't embed maps or social media feeds.

Our fonts are provided by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google, which means Google receives your IP address. Google Fonts doesn't set cookies. You can read more in the Google Fonts FAQ.

If we ever add anything that uses cookies, we'll update this page and ask for your permission where needed.
